The Society's continued success depends greatly on its members and their involvement.

Toward this end, ENETS has currently two ongoing task forces: The ENETS Patient Registry and ENETS Centers of Excellence. A third task force, dedicated to the creation of Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines achieved its goal between 2005 and 2007.

The aim of the task forces is to focus on aspects related to neuroendocrine tumor disease research and then to report its findings back to the Executive Committee, as well as to Society members during the ENETS annual conference.

At the 3rd Annual ENETS Conference, held in Prague in March 2006, the Society, during its General Assemby, agreed that the concrete formation of the Society's task forces should be a primary goal in the coming years.
